Project Brief

The North Shore’s Tuff Crater, a volcanic crater known for its mangrove-filled salt marsh and stunning views of the Waitematā Harbour and Auckland skyline, underwent an upgrade to its walkway. Funded by the Kaipātiki Local Board, this project aimed to provide a safer, more accessible, and reliable experience for visitors. The upgraded walkway also plays a crucial role in connecting the wider Northcote area, addressing the needs of an increasing population and potentially linking to the future Northern Pathway.

Why BiForm was Specified
